INDIANAPOLIS, IN (May 31, 2018) — Church leaders gathered in Indianapolis May 17-19 for the first annual Coaching Academy hosted by Hope Partnership for Missional Transformation’s ecumenical services.
Hope Partnership for Missional Transformation, a general ministry of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) that develops transformational leaders through innovative approaches that transform congregations and communities, announces an innovative, ecumenical shared business model with the church extension funds of mainline Protestant denominations.
INDIANAPOLIS (November 22, 2017) – The Boards of Directors of Disciples Church Extension Fund (DCEF), Hope Partnership for Missional Transformation (Hope Partnership), and Church Extension Financial and Missional Resources (CEFMR) met November 13-14 in Indianapolis for their semi-annual meetings.
Bringing together leaders from across the life of the Church, Leadership Academy gave Disciples ministries the opportunity to partner with one another. During the five-day conference, general ministry and higher education staff shared expertise and experiences with 50 church leaders from the United States and Canada.
Early last December at the Disciples Seminary Foundation (Claremont, CA), one could almost hear minds churning with deliberation. A room full of seminary students individually arranged seven index cards, respectively asking the questions when?, where?, why?, how?, what?, who?, and how much?–pertaining to the decision to start a church or nonprofit.
