Effective and inspiring leaders do not lead by themselves. They are lifted up by other leaders and peers who walk alongside them on the journey to new congregational life.
CARE Groups
CARE Groups are peer groups of pastors, seeking to lead their congregations in transformation. Read more about them here.
Coaching
Coaching is a one-on-one process of imparting to a leader the encouragement and skills he or she needs to succeed in a task.
Hope Partnership coaches walk alongside new and transforming church leaders to help them remain on track and accountable for the goals they set for themselves and their faith communities.
New Church Coach
New church coaches practice a ministry of compassion, love and encouragement through their ability to inspire, encourage, and strengthen church planters to be accountable to God, their families and the Church.
Communication is established monthly by phone or email and lasts for up to one year.
Transformational Coach
In this model, a coach creates a relationship with a transforming leader that seeks to bring about an awakening that reflects “greatness” and enables a leader to surpass personal expectations to experience a more fulfilling and meaningful future.
Transformational coaching integrates traditional coaching concepts with spiritual practices, advanced technologies and creative expression. The combination of these techniques helps facilitate transformation at the deepest levels while providing leaders with the support they need to live fully balanced and purposeful lives.
Coaches are trained at the annual Coaching Academy, like the one held in the spring of last year.
The purpose of Hope Partnership for Missional Transformation is to empower courageous leaders as they guide the Church into life-giving expressions of God’s mission. Hope Partnership serves transforming congregations and their leaders; nurtures leaders through coaching and peer support; and identifies, equips and supports leaders to plant new congregations.
